Loren was raised in the Eastern Cape and obtained her undergraduate medical degree from the University of the Free State. She subsequently gained clinical experience in Nelspruit and Port Elizabeth before relocating to Cape Town in 2019 to complete her specialist training in ophthalmology at Tygerberg Hospital. She joined the practice in 2025 and practices general ophthalmology, cataract surgery, Glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy & age-related macular degeneration with a keen interest in oculoplastic surgery.
